In Ayurveda we believe in changing your diet with the season. The coming of Spring can bring a lot of sticky feelings whether it's physical, mental or emotional. What you eat has a HUGE impact on your mood, and energy levels. Think of it this way... if you're eating thick, dense, heavy, sticky food, then you're going to mimic those same feelings. So, to counteract those sticky feelings and put a lil Spring in your step with one of my favorite juice recipes! It's excellent to start the day or during the afternoon lull. You can make it with or without a juicer.
2 Ruby Red Grapefruit
1" piece of ginger root (peeled)
1/2 tsp of raw honey
pinch of cayenne
Throw everything into a juicer or blender (without the peels) and serve. If you're feeling adventurous or need a lil kick add a pinch of cayenne!
